Pupil clicks on the spin wheel. Dial lands on a colour ; pupil must choose a box of same colour. Move the box to reveal a word - pupil gets sweet / point if they know what it is in English. Adaptable. More challenging if words on screen are in English, & pupil has to give French word.

You'll have to invest in some sets of mini-jenga (I found them for a couple of quid each on Amazon). Put a number (1-48) on each block. Pupils play Jenga in groups - one pupil is &'in charge&'; and has the question / answer sheet. If pupil successfully pushes out a block, questionmaster asks them the relevant question and gives them a point if they can a) recognise the tense b) say what it means in English. If question is in English, they must say the verb in French for 2 points. Have fun! 'Ave it!!!

Click on select to choose a pupil then let chosen pupil tap the spinner on the IWB - pupil must pronounce chosen word correctly and/or tell you what it means in English etc. Should be able to edit class list - change number of pupils then just click on the empty boxes and type in your pupils' names. Edit spinner by clicking on the double arrows on right, clicking on a segment and typing in a new word. Enjoy! Don&'t forget the sweets for winners! The power of the Haribo!! :)

Instead of teaching pupils tv programmes - repeat after me etc zzzzzzzzzzz, let them teach themselves!! Pupils are given a sheet of A3 paper, a copy of the vocab list, a copy of the pictures and a dictionary. They match up the words to the pictures, cut them out and stick them onto the A3. As an extension, they could write their opinion of each type of programme next to them. 'Ave it!! :)

Cut up the 5 cards & place however you like in the room. (I have 5 tables, 6 pupils on each - I put 3 copies of the same card on each table). Pupils work in pairs and are given 5 minutes on each table to see how many of the questions they can answer by reading the text. After 5 mins they move on to the next table. Or you can stick copies of the texts on the walls / tables / back of chairs etc and let them find the 5 different texts. Have fun!
